Freight, Demurrage & Defence

FD&D (Freight, Demurrage and Defence) is a separate class of cover, which provides assistance to P&I Club Members for the cost of legal representation and expert advice in relation to claims, disputes and other matters of a shipping nature which are not already covered by P&I and are not covered by another form of insurance.

Our team of specialist can draw on a wealth of experience and we have a deep commitment to understanding our client’s needs and requirements. Our experience includes FD&D cover in relation to all manner of marine insurance including: Cargo handling disputes, Sale and Purchase disputes, Disputes with suppliers, Crew/passenger action and many more.

Through our extensive worldwide network, we are able to adequately tackle every problem which may arise.
